Signuments (Contracts.org)

Software Engineer (Self-employed) · May 2015 – Feb 2016 · Digital signatures

Signuments is a full-featured digital signature application for creating, signing, and sending contracts. Users pick from templates to start fast, then capture multiple digital signatures so every party can sign electronically.

Signature placement is drag-and-drop: boxes drop where signatures are required, which keeps the process simple and cuts errors. Invite codes offer service discounts, managed from a dashboard that shows each contract's status and stage of completion.

A careful refactor of the system architecture and RESTful APIs cut contract generation time by approximately 85%. Signatures are captured on an HTML5 canvas pad in the browser, and the authentication system was built test-first with over 100 unit tests.
